In what is of interest possibly only to me, since I live in Colorado, as of July 2nd casinos in Colorado will now operate on a 24 hour a day schedule.

Last November voters in Colorado, including me, voted overwhelmingly to expand casino operations in the state. Not only are the casinos going to 24 hours a day but they are also raising the bet limits from $5 to $100.

It is expected that with the expanded hours and raised limits that those gamblers that would have made the 10 hour trip to Las Vegas will instead spend their money in state and help to reduce the ever growing state budget deficit.

The primary beneficiary of the expected 25% or more in increased revenues will be local colleges, which by law, must receive 65% of the increased revenue.

24 hour gaming, raised bet limits, and beautiful Rocky Mountain location, what more could you ask for?

Now if I only had some money.
