Up to this point gambling on television in the United States has been shown on ESPN and other channels which are not part of the BIG FOUR, (FOX, CBS, NBC, or ABC).

But that is all about to change.

Beginning in August, NBC, will begin airing a show that pits amatuer players against professionals for real money.

The amatuers play directly against the pros one on one, and if they win, they keep the money.

They are also given the choice of playing against another pro for more money, but if they lose, they lose it all.

With even the conservative mainstream media recognizing that adults choose to engage in gambling can the Federal Government be far behind?
