The month of October brings a lot of changes for us. From the weather to the scariest time of year and all kids love it. Ghosts and goblins are forth coming along with some sweet treats.
Our thoughts turn to candy corn, colorful leaves, ghosts and ghouls. It seems all Casinos online get in the spirit as some of the spookiest slots are just waiting to be played.
From Microgaming to WMS, the howling of fun is just a click away for your enjoyment.

For those of you who simply can’t get enough of Halloween, here are a few online slot games that can help you kick the season off right and get you in the spirit of Halloween.

    Spellbound

Created by Microgaming, Spellbound is a 3-reel, 3-payline game, with seven winning combos. It boasts a 6,000-coin jackpot. It takes on a bit of a Celtic feel in regard to aesthetics, as the game’s enchantress
lures you in with her mystical green eyes and fiery hair. However, it’s her spell casting that sets the game ablaze, making it an ideal Halloween choice. Aside from the leading lady as your wild image, you’ll find
icons that include the expected, as well as an owl and amulet to complete the theme. It’s a straight-forward variant of the traditional, which allows beginners and advanced players to be absolutely charmed.

    Boogie Monsters

There’s a fair chance you’ll snicker when you see the images used in Boogie Monsters. The game’s creators twisted traditionally-spooky creatures into humorous characters and then added a few surprises
along the way. Without giving too much away about the overall experience, it’s safe to say that it’s ideal for a player with some experience. The rules are also on the complex side, plus this online slot machine
utilizes 5 reels and 40 paylines. Though the jackpot is set to 5,000 coins, the game’s bonus system allows for a monotonously large total payout of 24,000 coins.

    Zombies

The images depicted in Zombies by NetEnt are a far cry from the fun ones on Boogie Monsters. In fact, they’re a little unsettling and true to the horror-genre. At its core, the game is 5 reels and 20 paylines of bloodcurdling entertainment. It’s simple enough for a beginner and if axes, brains, bloody circular saws and floating eyeballs don’t put you off, you’re sure to appreciate the 1,000-coin jackpot. It also allows
for a wide range in betting options, so it’s an excellent option no matter how much money you bring. This game shouldn’t be confused with The Zombies by Amaya, which is also a 5-reel variety, though has
50 paylines and is simply good, clean, zombie-loving fun. If features an adorable urban, living-dead family, complete with dance parties and amusing music. It also boasts a higher jackpot of 2,500 coins.

    Halloweenies

The graphics in Halloweenies are in my opinion not spooky at all. Pumpkins, ghosts, candy, and scatter bunnies account for much of the design.
This Halloween themed video slot from Microgaming has 5 reels and 20 paylines and features a Pick a Pumpkin Bonus Game and a free spins feature.

    House of Scare

Coffins, crows, voodoo dolls, monsters and witches contribute to the symbols of this online slot game. In regard to fright, it’s about halfway between Halloween Horrors and Zombie, but it does
contain some nice graphics. Like many of the others, it features 5 reels, though, alternatively, it has 25 paylines. It also dispenses one of the biggest possible jackpots out of all the games listed
here - a full 5,000 coins. Beginners will likely appreciate the easy controls and there probably isn’t a person alive (or departed, for that matter) who won’t think the coffin races are to-die-for.

    Count Spectacular

A fantastic RTG (Real Time Gaming) powered video slot that will have transposed to Transylvania. Never mind the darkness. Bite down on 25 paylines that could bring you blood riches. The quirky
and comical Count could transpose your reels to riches and start you off to a free spin or re-spin feature that is hollowing with winnings. You also have a chance a biting Jackpot with every spin that
could be a random major or minor jackpot win. Let the Count guide you on your way to some biting winnings.

While you’re pulling dusty boxes out of the attic, carving pumpkins and stockpiling candy, be sure to make a little time for fun as well. It doesn't have to be Halloween to play these incredible slot games.
These seven are just a smattering of what’s available online, but they do showcase the creativity and versatility of the game designs available today. If you’re just in it for amusement, they are sure to foot
the bill, but if you’re looking for huge payouts, make sure to research the site you’re using, as well as the stats they post along with each game, to increase your odds. If you get started now, you’ll not only
extend the season, but increase your odds of winning big.

It may be the season of Halloween and Fall, but playing some of these slot games last all year long. Count Spectacular is one of my favorite Halloween slots.

What other Halloween themed slot do you like to play?
Is it IGT, Microgaming, Net Entertainment, NextGen, Novomatic, Playtech or maybe WMS (Williams Interactive)? Let's see how scary your spinning is.

I love the seasoned themed slots. Halloweenies was one of my favorite Microgaming ones and Count Spectacular from RTG. I love it when the Count expands and turns all the reels wild.

We should not forget NetEnt's Video Slot Frankenstein. This game fits perfectly for the Halloween season.
