Hotshot poker bites the dust (closing)

    I received an e-mail today from Hot Shot Poker today, they are closing-

    Dear xxMick114xx,

    It is with regret that we announce that HotShot Poker will be closing its download client at 18:00 GMT on Tuesday 19th January 2010.

    As of 18:00 GMT, Tuesday 22nd December 2009, you will no longer be able to participate in real money cash games or tournaments. All deposit options will be removed from the poker room although withdrawals will still be permitted. We advise that you withdraw any funds remaining in your account before January 19th.

    We hope to make this process as easy as possible for you. Should you have any questions regarding how to access your funds or any other questions then please do not hesitate to contact our dedicated Customer Support team via email – support@hotshotpoker.com – or through our Live Chat service.

    We would like to take this time to thank you for choosing to play with HotShot Poker and wish you all the best.

    Ja Marina......seems like alot of poker sites closing.I guess if they not making money.......what you going to do eh.

    too many poker and online casinos around,
    and I think, at the end a player sticks with the sites he already knows better,
    yes the new sites sure will get players, but many only take advantage of the welcome offer and at the end still keep playing there where they already play longer, which is their favorite poker site. And the credit crisis is still not over, people have less money to spend on online gaming, that is a fact, so ... hard times for all, yeah for sure.
