Has Kentucky finally seen the light when it comes to Expanded Gambling Opportunities?
On Thursday the Kentucky House of Representatives decided to allow Slot Machines at their racetracks.
While the Governor of the state may feel that his efforts to expand gambling in the state are being rewarded unfortunately it seems as if the Senate does not share the view of the Governor or the House.
The leader of the Senate has declared that there must be other ways to increase tax revenues for the state without the passage of this piece of legislation.
It is my opinion that just the fact that it got this far is an encouraging sign as nationwide the idea of expanded gambling opportunities both land based and online are increasingly being explored.
