Poker is all about sportsmanship and good ol' friendly competition. And so in keeping with
the spirit of the game, they launching the very first satellite series to The PokerStars.com European Poker Tour.
This could be the start of a beautiful friendship.
The Event
Season 6 of the European circuit will once again make a stop in the Czech capitol of
Prague. This wondrous city, rich in history, will set the stage for an international event
that could in fact, make you rich (and not in an old castle and cobble stoned street way).
Last year the title was claimed by an Italian who beat 570 players for a grand prize
just shy of €775,000.
The tournament runs December 1st through 6th, 2009 at the Golden Prague Poker Room located within the
Hilton Prague Hotel. You'll be sure to take on numerous pros, players finding the
poker star in themselves, and our very own Team Cake.
