I have lived my whole life in the USA and never heard the term Polar Vortex before.

In the last few days, we've experienced some of the most wildest weather ever.

According to weather reports, the Polar Vortex is happening now.

Out of 50 states, only Hawaii will see temperatures above freezing for the next 24 hours.

Major airlines have shut down across the country creating havoc for all travelers.

Is this a global climate change or just a fluke?

Good thing the first lady, Michelle Obama is staying with Oprah Winfrey in Hawaii. lol

It is scary, isn't it?

Fact is, the climate is changing, and everyone knows that.

It is our fault, we taking to much from mother earth.

Sad is, that to many still go on and on to exploit our planet.

I did seen it on the news this morning, and it is just incredible!

They show it all day on tv here. It is incredible and I am so sorry for such a temperature which is there.

When this thing changes in the middle of the sea it will come to Europe they say.

I can't believe how cold it is in New England. The wind makes it worse.

On days like these, which I had a bear to cuddle up to and the heck with the husband.

Please make sure all your pets are in tonight. They say within one hour of being out, they are a gonner.
 
I am not sure what to make of this weather. I complain about the heat all summer so maybe this is mother nature's way of sticking it to me. I wouldn't mind so much if all the white stuff didn't have to come with it. I just moved from the middle of Canada to the east coast and I was welcomed with 70+ cm of snow. I was hoping I left it behind. I guess the only bonus is the calories I burn shovelling and shivering. hahaha :)
