i prefer not to put out my random acts of kindness, but i like to talk about one my son did...
he was 16 and working at a video store, it was almost christmas time and he was pretty excited to go christmas shopping...
on the friday after noon after he got paid a woman and her little boy came into the store and the woman was quite upset,
she couldnt find her wallet and he helped her look for it and told her to come back the next afternoon so he could have a chance to talk to his boss and see if one had been turned in...

she showed up the next day and he gave her an envelope, and told her he had mentioned it to his boss and a customer had donated the envelope to her so she could have something for christmas...
(a little white lie he had told) as it turned out my sweet son had taken 100 dollars from his own 120 dollar paycheque and gave it to the woman because he felt bad that she couldnt buy presents for her little boy..
.he is now a grown man and still just as sweet... he didnt tell the woman it was his money because he was afraid she would turn it down....
and so she wouldnt have to thank him :)

once I helped a woman being beaten up by her man on the street, when nobody else cared. There where a crowed standing around and just doing nothing just starring at them. I took the woman by the arm and ran away from the angry man. We ran into a store and I contacted the staff there and told them to call the police and ambulance wich they did.

3 years ago, I was riding on the metro bus with my then 2 year old step son. I had my arms full with groceries, and when our stop came my son took off to leave the bus. Well, I had left my purse on the bus with $700 in it. Our rent money to say the least. I had ran all over looking for it. A very nice man had over heard me explaining this at the bus depot and started a fundraiser jar to help us out. I didn't know this until I received a call a few days later. For people out there that are so wonderful!! I :thank you: ALL!!

well i gotta admit that what my grandmother did for me is a random act of kindness as i did not know she was aware of my situation, what she did was after struggling for many many years with old clunker cars she had a very dear friend of hers gave her an almost brand new mini truck and at the time i was having some very bad legal problems but no way in hades i could afford a lawyer so what did she do.....she went and sold her truck to some shady car lot to get me the money i needed asap, so she also ended up getting taken by the car lot and she did that all with out my knowledge..wonderfull lady
by the way i have since returned the favor sort of by getting her a 96 nissan altima that was in emaculate condition ;)

recently i was waiting inline at the checkout counter at the store. a man was being waited
on, and i just had the feeling he really didn't have enough money to pay for the items he wanted to purchase. after the cashier rang up his order and told him the amount, he counted
out his change and told her he didn't have enough on him, and he needed to go out to his
car for the rest. (really i think he didn't have it there either) It was only alittle over $2 so
i offered to give him the money. He was so thankful and he just couldn't stop thanking me.
helping someone, when they really need help, is such a great warm feeling. luvslots

I have to say that i have received and givin all kinds of random acts of kindness.
I have let my son live me for 6 months while he gets himself together long enough to get a job for him and his family to move to their own place with their child.

The one act of kindness that I have received is that my mother
gave birth to me so that I may experience all of the glory and the madness in this world and to learn from all of it.

Im still learning and living it.

Good Luck to all in this contest.
