Multiply this number by 2 (just to be bold) 3. Add 5 4. Multiply it by 50 5. If you have already had your birthday this year add 1758... If you haven't, add 1757. 6. Now subtract the four digit year that you were born. You should have a three digit number The first digit of this was your original number. OMG Vicki! ROFLMAO!! isn't funny how simple math can do some amazing things like this! i used to know another one my 7th grade teacher taught me, but i forgot how it goes. Yes This is Very :socool: ! another thing that some might not know is how to multiply a number that ends in 5 by itself in your head.{between 15- 95} once you get it down, you can do it faster than someone putting it into a calculator. ok, lets start with 15 x 15 1st off, any # ending in 5 multiplied by itself , will always end in 25. now the next step is to look at the 10's digit # which is 1. now add a 1 to the 10'd digit spot, and multiply that # by the other #'s 10's digit spot. For Example: 15 x 15 you would add 1 to one of the 10's digit spots to make it 25 x 15. now multiply the 2 10's digit #'s to get an answer which would be 1 + 1 x 1 = 2. golden rule: any # ending in 5 multiplied by itself , will always end in 25. now put the # you got from multiplying the 10's digit #'s together, in front of 25, and that is your answer. in this case, it would be 225! this is the best way i could explain it, i hope you guys understood it, lol lets try 25 x 25 golden rule: any # ending in 5 multiplied by itself , will always end in 25. so take the 2 10's digit #'s and add 1 to one of those #'s and then multiply them together. this would make it 2 + 1 x 2 = 6 now place that # in front of 25, because of the golden rule, 25 will be the end of the # you are multiplying, so your answer would be 625! This only works for #'s ending in 5 , 15 - 95 multiplied by theirselves. give it a try on the next #'s and see if you get it.
