In what is surely the most gregerious use of power up to now by any state Utah has decided to join the fight against online gambling.

As of May any person caught using the free wireless service provided by the Utah Transit Authority to participate in online gambling is subject to a $300 fine. And repeat offenders can be fined $500.

What is very disturbing about this law is that the fines are at the discretion of the Transit Authority Officers. So i guess if you are going to play, make sure you win, and then offer a portion of the pot to the officer.

So if I park outside of their offices and tap in,
I'll get fined? This is getting so outrageous.

Us USA people really need to get something
going. I'd love to know how many politicians and
such play online.

Thanks for the info
