Here's an article from our local news channel in NH, USA
PORTSMOUTH, N.H. -- A New Hampshire couple in their 70s who are living in a car are worried as winter draws closer.
Beverly Maguire, 71, and Roger Maguire, 78, have been living in their small, four-door car for eight months.
Beverly is handicapped and confined to a wheelchair after complications from knee replacement surgery. Her husband also has health issues and is unable to lift Beverly.
The couple have spent the past 20 years living in a motor home and camper between Florida and New Hampshire's Seacoast. But they permanently relocated in April to Portsmouth, where they feel they can get the best care, and left the motor home and camper in storage in Florida.
Since then, the Maguires have been unable to find temporary housing Beverly can access with her wheelchair.
This makes me so sick!!
