Today is
National S'mores Day.
Who decides these things anyway?
Did Campfire marshmallows call up
Hershey's and Nabisco and say
"Let's do lunch?"
(By the way, an authentic national day
involves an act of Congress,
so this is more an informal national day.)
A s'more is a traditional campfire treat popular
in the United States and Canada,
consisting of a roasted marshmallow
and a slab of chocolate sandwiched between
two pieces of graham cracker.
