Can a cat pick up human germs?

okay, son has been sick with flu like symptons last few days.

Now today, damn cat has been sneezing, coughing and won't get out
of bed. And of course, he's sleeping on sons bed.

Is he mimicking son or sick?

Is it possible for kitty cat to pick up human germs????​

yes..although they have their own mutations of the same...there is feline flu and feline HIV to name a couple.

Yes...and it works in both directions...one can get flu from a cat also.
