There’s a new mobile casino and it’s like nothing you’ve ever experienced before. The massive travel and leisure company, Carnival Corporation, has taken their wagering options to a whole
new level by partnering with Scientific Games. As the parent company of WMS, WMS Interactive, and Bally, Scientific Games delivers a very comprehensive and intuitive platform with tons
of high-quality games. Although the suite has numerous amazing promotions which are only offered while you’re onboard (It’s kind of difficult for them to deliver free drinks to you at home),
the free casino is available wherever you may travel.

The Platform

Onshore, the casino is only accessible via mobile devices. They have developed a free app for Apple gadgets, and it can be found in the iTunes library. There is also an Android equivalent on Google Play.
If you’re not onboard one of their ships, you’ll be offered a sampling of free games. The betting for real cash option becomes functional while you’re in international waters. The casino is scalable, so it
will adapt to whatever size device you’re using, and it adjusts to whether you’re holding it in portrait or landscape mode. It’s incredibly easy to use and follow, so you’ll never get lost trying to find the
game you want. The designers have also incorporated information about current promotions, plus maps of each of their ships, within the app. However, functionality of the app is limited if you’re portside.
Once onboard, the casino may also be accessed at SeaPlay.com.

Onboard Options

Carnival provides free Wi-Fi for guests aboard their ships, and you must be logged into that to gain access to all the other app features. Once you’re logged on, you’ll be able to create an account and fund it.
This can be done via bank transfer or by charging the balance to your room. They also provide a no-deposit welcome bonus of 10 dollars, which will be credited to your account if you visit the onboard casino
and speak to an attendant.

Promotions

On top of the welcome bonus, the Carnival Mobile Casino provides a ton of great perks for those aboard their ships.

Although promos may be changed up, as of now, their lineup includes:
  • Free drinks in their casino if you reach a specific number of player points.
  • A 5 dollar match bonus if you purchase your own cocktail.
  • Automatic entry into their raffle- some players are reporting that the ship delivers Champaign, wine, chocolate-covered strawberries and more to your room if you win.
  • Tournaments for slots, Texas hold ‘em, and poker, each with a prize pool of 100,000 dollars or more.
Gaming Options

Scientific Games is parent to several well-known software developers, so the platform hosts games from Bally and WMS Interactive, as noted earlier, as well as some from Las Vegas From Home,
Play ’n Go, and PokerTek. There is a wide variety of top-quality slots, plus table games, and a video poker selection. Although a full list of their available library isn’t obtainable unless you’re logged
on from one of their ships, the free section includes titles like Money Wheel, Cash Wizard, Golden Pharaoh, and Triple Trouble Poker.

The Ships

Even though Carnival Cruises are well known for having just about every possible opportunity for entertainment onboard, including traditional casinos, this is the first time they’ll be able to offer
guests mobile betting. So, people can play on their phones inside the physical casino and collect the free drinks, continue playing in their rooms after the casino shuts down for the night, or hit the
slots while sitting poolside. So far, the company has only begun offering the new service on two of their ships- Carnival Freedom and Carnival Breeze. Carnival Freedom is 952 feet long and can carry
over 4,000 people at a time between crew and guests. It’s a lavish ship, with 13 decks, a 12x22-foot LED Seaside Theater, and a pool. Carnival Breeze is even larger, stretching over 1,000 feet long,
with 15 decks, and can carry over 5,000 passengers and crew members. It’s incredibly extravagant, boasting a waterpark, spa, jogging track, theaters, restaurants, and seemingly a million other features.
Carnival Corporation plans to add their mobile casinos to some of their other brands in the near future. This includes Princess Cruises, AIDA Cruises, P&O Cruises, and Holland America.

Again, right now you’ll have to be onboard Breeze or Freedom to access most of their games, and you will have to cash out inside the ship’s casino before departing, as accounts cannot be accessed
outside of international waters. However, if you happen to be booking a vacation in the near future and you want to make sure there’s something to entertain you onboard, Carnival’s new mobile casino
is sure to be a winner.
