Hi Tanietta1987. First off, clear your cookies and temp files then restart your system as a first go.

To go on further, would need to know what version of Windows and what version of internet explorer.

When I was running my old system, I would get that frequently.

For a quick fix that may work, try restoring your system before that date and see what happens.

If this don't work search in Google for Casino Shell Stop Working.
Many have this problem and should be easy to fix.

I don´t know, if it is the same problem but it´s worth a try:

I had a really annoying RTG problem last year: Suddenly I could not play slot tournaments anymore and no idea why. After many weeks of research, I found out it had to do with with microsoft silverlight. Seems they updated something and the RTG did not work correctly anymore at some systems.

Here is how I fixed it, sorry, only german screenie but I think you´ll find out :):

Run the Silverlight console at: Start – all Programs – Microsoft Silverlight (folder) – Microsoft Silverlight

On the Silverlight console on the Application Storage tab, there is an "Enable application storage" checkbox. This was UNchecked. (Must be the new default setting as I hadn't touched this ever before.) Check it and close the console. Restart your PC
Now try to run RTG again.

I try to email Slotter ( an example casino with this error ) maybe they can find out how to resolve this , in the meantime i can't play RTG casino . :(

Sorry Tanietta it didn´t work for you. Here is another try, you see I had trouble with RTG more than once in the past:
  • Please de-install your RTG Casino.
  • Turn off or shut down your Antivirus protection
  • Go to the casino website and download the casino software again.
  • Install the casino software
  • Don´t forget to turn on or restart your Antivirus.
Some of the Antivirus Guards do block and blacklist RTG Casinos. You can avoid this, if the AV is not running whilst installation of the RTG.
Good luck :)

Sorry to hear about your troubles with RTG Casinos Tanietta.
I know that many more people had problems, many times antivirus programs did block the downloads from RTG Casinos.

I hope the casino maybe comes with a solution on this issue.
Did you hear already from them?

There are many RTG Casinos where you can play instant - no download required, is this working for you?
