According to the website Politico.com, Cindy McCain racked up $750,000 in credit card charges in one month.
Her credit card bills peaked between January 2007 and May 2008, during which time Cindy McCain charged as much as $500,000 in a single month on one American Express card and $250,000 on another, while one of their two dependent children had an AmEx card with a monthly balance as large as $50,000.
In my opinion, it's her money and she can spend it however she sees fit.
However this brings up a few questions for me.
#1. With average Americans suffering with the high costs of fuel and fuel, dealing with record amounts of foreclosures and facing outragous medical costs, do you think that the John and Cindy McCain can really relate to the average American?
#2. With both Hillary Clinton and John McCain painting Barack Obama as as elitest, how would people respond if Mitchelle Obama had racked up similiar charges?
#3. Does Cindy's spending habits really matter or is this just another left wing political attempt to smear her and John McCain?
What do you think?
