I am just curious about this. . . when I was a kid the church I grew up in made it sound like gambling was a sin for which you could burn in hell. It was very fundamental. Now that I am an adult I still go to church but not that same denomination and we never even hear anything about gambling there. What about where you go or how do you feel about that teaching?

All I Can Say Is Most Legal Things That Are Allowed , If Done In Moderation, Is Ok In My Book. In My Opinion, Everything That People Do Could Be Seen As A Sin, If They Go Overboard With It. When It Becomes An Obsession , And It Seems You Idol Or Worship Something More Than The Mighty One, Then In My Opinion, Thats When It Becomes A Sin. Things Done In Moderation Is Ok In My Book.

Burn in hell hmmmm at least it well be warm. j/k Today most churches dont like people to dig themself into a hole. Most people that do dig a hole end up going to a church for help in several ways.Consulling, help to pay bills and the list goes on and on.But its not only gambling most people live off credit and thats not very smart either.

Heck, when I was growing up a lot of the churches held Bingo games, of course they weren't going to preach gambling was wrong, lol.

There are so many churches who have a very narrow point of view about gambling like they do a lot of different issues. I think there can be a balance. It is never good when one thing in your life totally takes control but I do not think that just because something is fun that it is bad the way some churches do.
