Endorphina recently made some waves when the company partnered with Coingaming.io, a major Bitcoin casino platform. Plucked from relative obscurity, Endorphina is bringing a unique style of slot games into the market. Although a previous deal placed their games in the Ned2Pay LTD operated Florijn Casino, their latest agreement will enable numerous Bitcoin casinos to pick up their games as well.

History of Endorphina

The company is based out of The Czech Republic, in Prague. Founded in 2012, they’re an incredibly small, privately held start-up, which seems to be just getting its sea legs now. Although their website claims their core founders have experience in the casino industry, no links can be found to any other major casino software developers at this time.

However, the known members of their team all appear to be well-educated, recent university graduates, and have a great passion for casino gaming. Overall, they’ve been slow to add in partnerships and their catalogue only holds 24 titles at this time, but what they have released is fantastic. Moreover, they have specially designed their games to integrate easily into other platforms, so they’re ready and primed for rapid growth. They tend to alternate between two
slogans, “Reel endorphin!” and “feel-good gaming,” both of which sum up their brand identity nicely. They have been very active in the iGaming community, and have been spotted at events like ICE, the Malta Summit of iGaming, and the Bitcoin4iGaming Conference.

Technology

So far, Endorphina has only developed online slot machines. The interface for each one is the same and provides intuitive gameplay. Because they’re designed intentionally to be easy to use, the main controls are very simplistic in appearance as well. Some of the most basic features include a single spin option, a fully-customizable auto-play option, plus one-click alterations for paylines and wager amounts.

They haven’t integrated any obscure rules or complex bonus games. Instead, their entire library at this point plays out very much the same, so it almost feels as if they’ve simply put a new skin on an old game. However, they do have a selection of both three and five reel video slots, which are flash-based for instant play on a PC. The number of paylines also varies on each game and there can be as few as 5 or as many as 50. Upon receiving a winning combination, the games provide the options of “Take Risk” or “Take Win.” Clicking the Take Win button enables players to keep their cash and spin again.

Take Risk sends players to a simple card-draw mini-game, in which the goal is to beat the dealer’s draw by choosing one of four cards. If the dealer’s card is beat, players can continue to gamble their winnings for a chance to win double, or head back to the basic slot game. Some of the newer games provide free spins, wilds, and bonus games as well.

Most of the graphics in their games looks like painted artwork or hand-drawn illustrations, like one would expect to see in a high-quality comic or children’s picture book. They’re truly stunning and are not like anything else on the market today. Although they’re mostly stationary, minor animations occur with wins. However, the simplicity of their games is part of their charm. The audio complements the gaming experience perfectly too.

Their first slot is called “BLAST! BOOM! BANG!” and has a comic book super hero theme. There are 5 reels and 50 paylines, plus it has all the goodies included in their other games. After a few other releases, they added in “Fresh Fruits,” which is a 5-reel, 40-payline game which utilizes wilds. some of the other fan-favorites are “4 of a King,” “Geisha,” “Gladiators,” and “Chimney Sweep.” Chimney sweep is especially delightful, because it features vintage artwork and the sweep is an adorable young blonde who sneezes when she brings a win to the reels.

Right now, the only known casino to have their games is Florijn Casino. Coin Gaming is a modular platform for Bitcoin casinos, so Endorphina’s games could start popping up on random websites, as operators see their games and chose to incorporate them into their suites. Endorphina’s entire catalogue of games is also available to play free on their corporate website, endorphina.com. Although they’re small, they added in three new games in December 2014 alone, so it’s clear they’re not only dedicated to quality, but also to fast becoming a staple in the industry.

They have three new games on the horizon, each with a unique theme. Minotaurus will feature respins, which are triggered by the wild. Fairy Tale has a side-game which offers multipliers. Macarons, the final of the three about to be released, has engagement ring bonus symbols. It’s exciting to see them kick it up a notch with game features, because it’s sure to land Endorphina’s games in some of the hottest online casinos very soon.

I know Endorphina and have been playing very few of its slot games but this provider doesn't seem to be a magnet of talks. What I like about their slot games is that the design, decorative features and themes are so innovative and so "them". However, I wish they could work more on the animation.
