how much do you spend in poker?

I must say that I really find it a bit unbelievable, that you never deposit at
a good pokersite.
I mean, Masida just bought a kitchen......wtg!

well i have to find a good site to make a deposit on let me know what a good site is caues i really really getting pissed of in playing with clowns

Nothing anymore! When playing poker, when I get sucked out, I throw a temper tantrum sometimes, especially when I tilt and go up the stakes to try to do a fast recover. When I see my money being pissed way to the lucky donks, I get really mad. However, I've been good by not depositing anymore. I just play freerolls. In reality, there's no difference between myself deposit and just grinding up winnings from freerolls. I only say that because I believe I'm capable of winning as much money when I used to when I deposited, which wasn't really that much. I think while I was depositing, I made about $1200 bucks. Could have been another $1500, but I pissed off about $500 three times due to tilting. I'd deposit $20 bucks here and there, which isn't a lot, but I'd get to play medium stake sngs more often. Right now, as a freeroll player, I'm less stressed about the money when I lose, and also I don't play as often for money, as I tend to relax more when I don't care as much about making money. I won $600 for free (but it wasn't technically a freeroll. I used basically rewards points from an email promo totally for free to satellite into a 10k guarantee), and that's about it. I'm also trying my best to grind my bankroll by playing limit holdem, and the ditch and run strategy in low stake no limit games, by just pushing AK or AQ with a low stack, hoping to get good odds against a big stack player that's playing loose, doubling up hopefully, then leaving. Sometimes, the challenge is more worthwhile of a chase than the money.

Yeah Chris, with online poker, this is gonna be
found at nearly every site, there are donkey's everywhere. That is why i like
setting up private games for members of our forum. By setting up our own private
games, we can enjoy some nice games with fellow forum members, without alot
of the crazy stuff. Also, from time to time, besides freerolls, i can get added money tournaments to small buyin games i set up, like a buyin of $2-$5, i can get like
$50 or so added to the game. Making the pot just a bit sweeter for all that
show our games some support and play with us.

Keep an eye open for these games, because without support from our
forum members for buyin games too, our sponsors will no longer
keep giving us freerolls if they are not getting any support in return.

I like the buyin tourneys with added prize money a lot. I haven't seen too much of these here at BP but would definitely try to play any that get organised.

As for the general question asked, I try to manage my br so that I don't have to put any new money in. I move money about to try to take advantage of offers and to support the forum if possible/practical.

I've deposited about $200 where I play poker and have won about $800.

I've been playing for quite a long time but am now just starting to discover what it takes to win, and that is patience, always get your chips in when you have the best hand and fold when you don't.

Don't try and chase that straight or flush draw to often especially when it gets expensive, just fold the cards and move on to the next hand. The same goes for when your up against a fish and you take a bad beat on the river, alot of people get frustrated and start playing everything except their game, if need be sit out a couple hands take a breather then sit back down(thats what i do).

Personally, I play micro-limits as I have a small bankroll and don't want to play beyond what I can afford to lose. I have contemplated moving up a level as I am currently making a profit of about $5 a month but instead I decided to stop depositing money, build up my bankroll and effectively get my poker for free, which is great as I play poker recreationally and for lesiure. Therefore I am happy to stay put as the $0.02-$0.04 micro-limit tables as I am enjoying myself, which ultimately is what I play for.

I started to play poker in freerolls and I won a few places but I not earned so much, just about 50$ and some tickets to another freerolls with big prizes. I play for fun for the moment and I disagree the idea to spend much money in online poker, I better make a deposit and put some bets in football theres more chance to get some money. But let see for now I just want to get experience in online poker and after I'll think about spending money on it. I'll first have to get some earnings before :)

You guys that are weary about depositing into a poker room, you should keep in mind, the more support shown for our forum, the more freerolls we can continue to offer. Support for our sponsors is what really helps get us as many freerolls as we get. Also, think about what we do here with poker at bonus paradise. We are a community, that is getting to know each other everyday and making new friends along the way. Also, i would like to set up more buyin games for our members, but i'm not getting many supportors for the buyins, only for the freerolls.

The more players that get involved in supporting our forum and sponsors, the more great promotions i can get like added money to buyin games. Say, i get a buyin game scheduled for $2.20 buyin, i could get $25-$50 added to these games as long as many of you support the game. Right now, no one is supporting our buyins very much, therefore i can't keep getting these awesome promotions.

Also, when you play with Bonus Paradise members, its like having a home game with friends. The only difference is that i can get these added money games, and you get a great chance at winning extra money. Just think, if we had $20 players to play a $2.20 buyin, that would make the pot $40. Now, if i got $50 added to the prizepool, then it would be like having 25 more players in this game that you do not have to beat.

I have a brand new sponsor coming in the next couple days, and we have some awesome promotions coming along with them. Please think about if you are looking to
support a sponsor of ours, then think about this sponsor.

The more support we get , the more i can get for you guyus, just keep that in mind. :hugs:

I'll post a picture when we're ready, probably end of May. Starting with painting tomorrow, then the floors and ceiling and then the kitchen. Wish me luck lol.

And the kids are still talking about last years vacation at "de Beekse Bergen". No worlds journey, but always nice if you can spend some extra money from your pokeraccount for the holidays :) Especcially with 3 of those little brats. So if the kitchen is ready I got a few months left to poker ourselves to "de Beekse Bergen" again.

Is there any buy-ins at Bwin?

I'd happily support a buy-in at Bwin (as long as it's within my bankroll- under $6 buy in) but (as far as I know, I may be wrong) there isn't any Bonus Paradise buy-in games on Bwin.

I started from freerolls and my bankroll has risen steadily. Great return on a minimal investment, but I think I'm being too much of a bankroll nit. I'll try more higher buyins soon. Still in micro-stakes, though. Sometimes I tilt after stupid little things. I think that has more to do with things that happen away from the table, being in a bad mood to begin with.

Started a month ago, I did only some deposits to get some bonusses or free extra money.
Won some smaller Sng's I have now a positive account after invested money for 150 €
There are some nice pokersites and freerolls to increase your bancaccount so I will concentrate myself on those before choosing higher buy-ins
