Nice home and nice pictures.
I always like the cold weather and lots of snow.
Heck, years back, here in Missouri, we use to get good snow weather, and when it got cold, it stuck around for a good period. Now adays, gets cold, but then it warms up in a few days and the snows just aren't what they use to be. We have more ice weather, which I hate, as it hard to even walk in your yard, rather on, trying to drive on it.
Bad part about not having long cold weather, the insects stay active, and the ticks, are more abundent. Another thing, the tree here drop their sap for winter, then it starts waming up too soon, sp starts moving again, then we get a cold snap, and the trees get damaged. Bad on the fruit and nut trees, and it shorttens their production or else they don't produce at all.
really bad, when mid Nov. comes along and it is our deer hunting season, and you out there in a short sleeve shirt, but this year was cooler for a short.
some times this weather here is very bad on the people and livestock.
Just like today, 8:00 AM 50 degrees out and raining. 2 days ago nothing about 17 degrees.
Global warming you say, lost of ozone layer, sure, I agree, but it's not cause by the normal people. More like factories, pumping their acid smoke into the air, or all these dang landfills, pumping all this gas vapors. Can some remember their science, where we were taught, that burning are trash, and brush, that the smoke was good, as it went up into the atmosphere, the particles in it gathered moisture to help produce rain. Wonder why we don't have the normal rains, instead of these great down pours.
Okay, I'll shut my mouth in a short, but got to say this.
If, and this is very true, if we would have done as our American, Native Indians had suggested long ago, to treat our land, it would be in much greater shape. I would say more, but I said I would shut up.
