Evolution Gaming’s Monopoly Live Named Game of the Year at the EGR Operator Awards 2019

The list of awards, as you can see, never stops coming, and this time, Monopoly Live was the game that brought the new award to the multi-award-winning developer.
Monopoly Live beat 13 other shortlisted games by successful companies and won the prestigious award. The actual award recognizes the operator or game studio that has produced the stand-alone game that has made the most massive impact over a twelve months period.
The ceremony was held at Grosvenor House Hotel in London, and Evolution Gaming received it there. After the EGR Operator Awards 2019 ceremony, Todd Haushalter, the Chief Product Officer at Evolution Gaming said that they were all honoured to have won the award for Monopoly Live, adding that it has been a true pleasure to work with one of the universe’s top-loved brands to create such a unique game, now named as the Game of the Year.
The Game of the Year winner was voted by the actual shortlisted operators for one of the Operator Awards. Deloitte officiated the voting process. So, Haushalter added that winning back-to-back Game of the Year EGR Award was something they have never dreamed of since they created games they though players would love and that they would want to play themselves. That was always their focus. But, to be once again honoured by peers in the gambling industry with the award was so very special and something that would motivate Evolution Gaming for 2020 and beyond. He thanked everyone at Evolution that made the award a reality.
