In what is certainly a response to Delaware legalizing Sportsbetting, The governor of New Jersey, has recently decided that sports betting should be legal in his state also.
Ther are currently 4 states that allow sports betting. New Jersey is currently in a legal battle with the United States Government to repeal the current law that only allows sportsbetting in those 4 states.
The trend seems to be leaning toward allowing more and more types of gambling in many states. It is this writers' opinion that it is only a matter of time before the Federal Government decides that the revenues form online Gambling are to good to pass up on.
