Hello, I just found this article

Russia pushes for harsher penalty vs unlicensed gambling Russia, which has one of the strictest gambling policies in the world, is planning to impose criminal punishment against those who will be found organizing illegal gambling operations outside the specialized gaming zones.

At present, unlicensed gambling in bookmaker’s offices and betting houses is punishable by administrative fines and seizure of property. Criminal liability for organizing illegal casinos in Russia can be applied only if the violators is caught in the act amounting to more than 3 million rubles ($46,901).
The Russian government also want to penalize those who will be caught leasing their properties more than twice. Under the bill, offenders will be penalize with fines ranging from 500,000 to 1 million rubles ($15,200) or the offender’s salary or other income for a period of up to five years or a prison sentence for a term of up to four years.

What do you say about it???

Welcome Starmagic, I have added the orig. source of this article to your post and quoted the article.
Please do not just copy paste content. This is not allowed.

We do not have much members from Russia here.
However, gambling regulation and legalisation happens currently in many countries.

@Marina
"What if all countries will legalize gambling to charge more taxes for the country?"
I thought a lot about this and I can not find the answer. What do you think?

Believe me, more and more countries will legalize online gambling.
I see this as good thing, it is good for the players!

In some countries, the casino will pay all taxes needed , means if you cashout , you must not worry about paying tax for the winnings!
Not all countries will do it that way I guess?

Why not? I guess that any profits for the country is not excessive.. But I am sure that this process will take many years.

Been to Russia and had some friends and family based there who were also into Casino and they said that Russia has only four legal casinos:
Oracle and Nirvana in Krasnodar Krai; Altai Palace in Altai Krai; and Tigre de Crystal in PrimorskyKrai.
