Guys, these e-mails are bad,
someone is trying to steel your personal data and more if possible,
Do never ever click such a link in e-mails,

I have informed club world casinos already and got this e-mail back:

Hi Marina,

Thank you for your e-mail.

I can tell you that these spam e mails are not from Club World.

The spammers are deliberately using our good name in the subject line in the hope that you will read the e mail, if you do click on the link, and i really advise against this.

We are very concerned about this and are looking into who is sending these spam e-mails.

If you require any further assistance feel free in contacting us.

Regards

Armen

I am a big spam hater. I am an Admin at many forums, and I do alot of addy checking, of all members, to stop them fom even being in the foums. That said, just because a addy has .ru or any other area, does not mean they are from Russia or any other country, as it is easy to use proxy and reroute where you are from. Which can and could be your next door nieghbor.

What I would worry about, is this email going to just members of CWC from Bonus Paradise, is it being sent to all CWC members, or is it being sent to members and non-members of CWC.
I, myself have yet to receive such an email, but I am not a member of CWC. As I see, a few Bonus Paradise members have received this email, which makes me think, they have gotten your info from the forum posts, or if your email address is not hidden, then they got it from there, which is no fault of Bonus Paradise and staff. Hard to stop a spam bot.
One thing that the staff could look at, is the logs and start looking at members that stay for long periods in the members list. Pay close attention to that person's address, host, and IP. Use the spam stoppers check lists. They have over 10,000 places that let spammers use for addresses and it helps to join one of these groups of spam stoppers, because do help with great information, when there is a problem.
Now something funny that happen, about a spammer in a forum, that I am an Admin at. This person had registered about 6 years ago, but never found anything on him, but I made a note and told the owner. This person never visited the forum all this time, until 2 weeks ago, and bang, he spammed and not only at this certain forum, but others too and had done the samething. Also at the spam watchers forums, that I belong to, his aka showed up finally, all in one day.

Thank you Bad Boy
we checking recently to prevent spam and spammer and spam bots as much as possible,

We are also a forum who does not allow guests to view members info or members list.
For exact the reason that there are to many spammer and spam bots on the net.

I do believe that these guys got an e-mail database from somewhere
and their good guess is,
Club World has many players, and they have a good name
so they try it in that way.

How they got the e-mail addys is really hard to tell,
but its not only Bonus Paradise members for sure.

This is why we always warn our members to think twice before the sign up at a new casino or some other things.
E-mail addys getting shared easy,

As Bad Boy said already,
do never post your e-mail addys public or make them visible in your profile on forums.

Bad Boy, I do not believe that these came from a list of Bonus Paradise members. Do you not get the bank ones sometimes? I get this kind of thing once in a while from "banks" and they say that you have to click a link and change your password for protection or something. LOL. I get them from like 5 so called banks. I only have one bank account. They just buy a list and send to anyone on it. I get so many I just delete them.

Too many people however, do not realize they are fake. So thank you Ellis for the warning about this. If it saves just one persons account then you have done a great thing!

I got the same email as everyone else and deleted. How they get your email address?........I think rogue casinos sell email lists. That's one way .I try not to signup ( anymore)at questionable casinos but probably have in the past , and probably lured with a free chip.I've seen this type of email blitz on other forums.Seems everyone on the forum was getting the same spam from the same addy etc.If it's like anything else online........... info can be bought and sold by the sleazy .
