It what may come as a strategic revenue loss for the United Kingdom, William Hill is expected to announce next week Gibraltar will be the new home of its online gambling business.
William Hill, and another massive gambling operation, Ladbrokes, have suggested that the amount of income tax taken from their gross revenues by the British Government has made it too difficult for them to compete on an even field with companies that are based in other locations.
It is suggested that the move of these 2 companies would cost the British Government millions of pounds a year in lost revenues.
