I have added the event to our calendar, including the time when we start

Members should see the correct time zone which they have chosen when they registred on our forum.
If you have not selected the correct time zone when you signed up you can still go to your user cp and edit it under -
Settings Options - Edit Options - scroll down to Time Zone

If you don't know which time zone you currently have set, just scroll down to the bottom of the forum and you will find something like this

Note you must be logged in to see your time zone.

But when i click the calendar it says 7pm to 9pm :hitme:

wyldgirl, seems you have set time zone in your account to the forum's default,
which is GMT+1... You can edit the time zone... please read below.
I think you have to set it to (GMT - 8 then you should have your time zone here on the forum.
