No reasons given for taking Borgata off the schedule

Rumours earlier this (November) month that the World Poker Tour was about to remove the Borgata Poker Open from its schedule of 2009 events have been confirmed by the company.

The Borgata Poker Open was slated for the end of January 29, but is now no longer on the WPT Season 7 program. When InfoPowa went to press there was no information on the reasons for the cancellation.

However, all is not lost to poker fans, because the Borgata has replaced the WPT event with its own tournament, which will take place at a date to be announced, probably sometime in the Borgata Winter Poker Open.

When i got married i visited the Borgota
hotel and casino on my honeymoon. It's located in Atlantic City New Jersey and was the prettiest boulding in town. They were fairly new, and the only reason i wanted to play there is because i seen this casino on the WPT tournament on T.V.! lol

While there, they were filming a Poker tournament for the WPT but it must have been a small event. I did however go down stairs to have a look around and i noticed at least one poker pro, Howard Lederer! I was pretty excited on seeing him as he is one of my favorite pro's!

This casino was pretty cool, but i didn't get to stay long thanks to my wife! roflmao

You know those compliementary drinks they give you while playing? well my wife drank about 4 or 5 tom collins' and within about 2 1/2 hours, see was about passed out on the machine beside me, and then she got up and said she was leaving with or without me! lol

This sucked because i was playing video poker {$.05 cent machines} and i was hitting left and right. The four - of - a - kind of 2's, 3's, 4's paid out alot more than regular 4-of-a-kind's
and i hit the 2's like 4 times and i was up about $150 when she decided she was leaving!
